Almost left before making an order!

I should be fair the man taking orders was mostly working on his own but the wait between sitting down and getting to order was rather long if he hadn't brought us some wine when he did we would have left without eating.

I did enjoy the family atmosphere and what i assume were his daughters helping out they were young but excellent.

The food unfortunately was poor. There are so many excellent places to eat in the Kokkari area this just isn't one of them. Bland tasteless plates of food poorly presented. The plates of food made me feel like the chef had no passion for what they were doing.

Restaurant Marina in Kokkari, on the island of Samos, is an absolute gem! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and their recommendations were spot-on. The food is homemade, prepared with a lot of love and expertise. On our first evening, the owner suggested trying the lamb from the large oven, and it turned out to be one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had in my life.

Great Greek Taverne. It offers traditional Greec food at reasonable prices. Parking is oké in the area and they offer sitting inside, outside with roof and straight in the garden. We payed around € 20 per person for some starters (shared) and a main. We got a little strawberry ice cream as a bonus. Nice touch. The waiter who helped us was very polite and friendly.
