Family style restaurant from Kokkari people. We know the restaurant and their owners since 20 or more years. The restaurant is quiet and perfect for a) windy days (inside Beachrestaurant) or b) for calm days with eating directly on tables on the pebbles of the Kokkari Long beach. I may recommemd the veal dishes, slowly cooked by Efi in the morning, with onions (stifado) or with green beans (seasonal). Also the gyros plate and the spaghetti carbonara are great. And many other dishes. And the half Litre white wine from the barrel (housewine) is good and perfect for these dishes. I am writing on behalf of my parents. During their order, even though they made it clear that they wanted 1 plate of kalamari/fries, restaurant brought them 4 plates of them. When my parents objected the order, the owner kicked them out of the restaurant in front of all customers and said he did not accept any payment for the drinks. Such a beautiful journey passed with smile and kindness of local people turned into frustration thanks to unnecessary and rude behaviour of the owner for a moment. For many years we come here. It is a family restaurant, where mother runs the kitchen, and father, daughter and son in law serve all your requests. Very lovely people, who work many hours every day to make every guest happy. A sunbed is free of charge if you enjoy lunch at Samia. This is authentic and very good Greek food, nice cocktails and as from this season also a new menu with very nice desserts.
