Akrogiali — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

Directly on the pebbles of main beach, you may enjoy under two trees and on some wooden tables the dishes of cook Stamátis and owner Nikos, two Kokkari brothers, who make the business in this location for decades. It is a quiet and romantic spot and without the noise of inner village restaurants. Only the waves on the beach are the music. The dishes are cooked or are prepared on a charcoal grill. My favorite dishes are the tasty Tsaziki and the fresh Kalamarakia prepared in the pan. They offer also a good white housewine from the barrel. On calm days you sit outside at the beach, at windy days restaurant offers 6-10 tables...

This afternoon we were here to eat and drink something. It was amazing!!!!... the view...wauw! and the owner and staff so sweet and kind!. This evening we decided to eat here again...but the restaurant was closed. But the owner invited us for a nice meal and that was the sweetest thing ever!!!. He had a fantastic chicken in lemon sauce and tzatziki and Greek salade. This is something we will never forget. And ...when we left he gave us a orange🍊. Very basic food. Everybody can throw some meat and fish on the grill. Hygiene is an issue here. After throwing away the gargbage no cleaning of the hands but back to the cooking. Full ashtrays, they just empty them on the beach. The cook drinks a lot and is sometimes screaming dirty words to Swedish, Dutch and also German people who pass by and are not having food there. It could be a great place if they put a little bit more effort into it. And show some respect to the people. Be nice. Not only to your yearly...
