Nok restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalamata

Complete disappointment, can't understand the rating being above 3.5 stars. The octopus has a decent enough taste but someone should inform Dunlop and Michelin - vulcanised rubber has found it's master, they should start making Nok-topus tires. Its consistency was worse than that of any octopus dish I've ever experienced, which includes me trying to grill it myself. And believe me when I tell you that wasn't great either... Still. The greens were like your ex, cold and bitter. However, I'm almost impressed how a veggie dish can be oily AND watery at the same time. Some, any, just the tiniest hint of seasoning outside a bath of olive oil might be an idea for improvement. Sardines are really hard to screw up. Those were decent; very, very small though. Can't complain about a gift but good god what even is this dessert besides inducing type 2. It was brought after we explicitly said we don't want anything else after what we were exposed to before.

One amazingly charming waiter dude made us feel welcome, the other one was professional. That and the decent location directly at the waterfront made it a 2 instead of a 1 star experience. Way too expensive for what it is.

Utter and absolute...

Nok Restaurant is a true gem in Kalamata. The service is excellent, and the food, including fresh seafood, grilled mixed vegetables, and traditional Greek orektika, is as fresh as can be. Everything is prepared with simplicity, yet full of the authentic, vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean. Our very personable waiter, Socrates, provided excellent and timely service, which enhanced the experience even more. And to top it off, you are seated in awe before the moonlit, peaceful waters of the Messinian Gulf, watching a few late-evening bathers move slowly and meditatively through the sea — almost like a healing ritual. What more could you ask for, especially at such modest prices? Nok is an experience not...

Τα φαγητό δεν είχαν τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο τουλάχιστον αυτά που πήραμε . Καβουροσαλατα με σκόρδο , που τη βρήκαν τη συνταγή ; ,πατάτες που δεν είχαν τηγανιστεί αλλα έβραζαν στο λάδι ,μπριζόλα χοιρινή που μου θύμισε τα κρέατα του στρατού ( τύπου Γκοτζίλα ) . Τα παραπάνω θα τα παράβλεπα λόγο του μοναδικού περιβάλλοντος , θάλασσα πιάτο , μα εκείνο που είναι απαράδεχτο και επικυνδινο συνάμα θεωρώ τη συμπεριφορά του προσωπικού ως προς το χειρισμό των μέτρων που πρέπει να τηρούν . Οι σερβιτόρες δεν φόραγαν τις μάσκες τους σωστά αλλα σαν διακοσμητικά παπιγιόν , βουταγαν με τα γυμνά χέρια τους όπου έβρισκαν τα ποτήρια και τα πιάτα και τα τοποθετούσαν στο τραπέζι . Σε παρατήρηση μας ότι έχουμε άτομο που χρειάζεται προσοχή και ότι πρέπει να φορέσουν σωστά τη μάσκα τους έστειλαν προκλητικά άλλη σερβιτόρα η οποία δεν φόραγε καθόλου τη μάσκα . Εννοείται ότι δεν άφησα φιλοδώρημα και μετάνιωσα που πλήρωσα το λογαριασμό !!! Οι άνθρωποι είναι απ τα γκραβαρα !!!! Μπορεί να έχουν κάθε δικαίωμα να πιστεύουν σε ότι θέλουν αλλα δεν έχουν κανένα δικαίωμα σε αυτή τη δουλειά να μην τηρούν τους νόμους . Επιφυλάσσομαι σε καταγγελία στο ΕΟΔΥ για να γλιτώσουν πιθανόν κάποιοι ανηποψιαστοι . Το λιγότερο που τους αξίζει είναι το πρόστιμο επι όλου του προσωπικού ( σιγά μην φορούσαν μάσκες στην κουζίνα κατά την παρασκευή...
