YPERANO — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalamata

Ordered from Efood 7chicken skewers and 3 pork skewers. The order arrived and we received 10 pork skewers. We called the shop and let the know, they accepted their mistake and said they will send 7 chicken skewers through to us. The delivery guy comes second time and brings the 7 chicken skewers. Then he asks for the previous delivery. We rejected to give him the rest of the pork skewers as we thought that the lady at the kitchen of the restaurant would serve them to other clients. Later we called the shop and asked the lady is she had received the rest of the skewers. She sounded angry as she thought that the delivery guy had lied to her about the skewers. Clearly we will will never eat from this shop again and nether should you. You dont know what you are eating at this shop and if they are feeding you leftover from previous plates. It was so good we went twice - and will go again!!

Because the food just about everywhere in Greece is so good we try to go to new places all the time. However, the food was so good here that we came again for dinner on one of our precious few nights in Kalamata.

The food is gorgeous - homemade and it’s obvious it’s been cooked with great care. I had a pork souvlaki wrapped and my partner had steak. Utterly delicious!

We were also given some fried cheese croquettes which melt in your mouth.

It was most impressive that one of the owners remembered what we had ordered on our previous visit and was able to make recommendations based on that.

The friendly welcome of the people who work here plus the good food will definitely bring us back on our next trip. The pricing is amazing for such a full meal (especially if you’re from Northern Europe.)

There are so many lovely restaurants on this street in Kalamata; do not waste your time, money, and vacation here.

We were a group of 14. From the moment we sat down, our waiter was visibly annoyed. He took our order while rolling his eyes the entire time. Then, the food started arriving with incorrect types of meat, sauces, and sides. He kept referring to his notes—which were written incorrectly—and kept insisting it was our fault. I have never encountered such a rude server in my life.
