We went to Evant Espresso Bar for breakfast while waiting for the train from Kalavryta. We ordered coffee, Irish coffee, hot chocolate for the kids, and two pancakes – one sweet and one with chicken and cheese. The food came in about 10–15 minutes, which was pretty fast. The Irish coffee was tasty, though it had whipped cream (from supermarket), which not everyone likes. The pancakes were okay, but we’ve had better. The barbecue ketchup on the chicken pancake didn’t really fit. My wife had scrambled eggs with toast and avocado. But the “avocado” was more like some avocado-flavored mayo in a small bowl. The toast was tiny, and the scrambled eggs were too peppery. Many menu items were unavailable – no baguette, no ciabatta. Overall, the experience was average. We had to go to the counter and pay after waiting 10 minutes for the bill we asked for, which was a bit disappointing.
