Tavern The Elatos — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalavryta

First of all, accepting everyone inside without checking covid certtificates is unacceptable in these days. Second, the waiter came and asked if we are ready, told him we are and responded that he doubts about that because choosing a food by ourselves and getting the food we want are two different things. I do not appreciate irony and bad manners. So he rejected my request for steak telling me that i will wait forever to get it -( a steak can be cooked in 10 minutes). A sad excuse to make us choose hotpot meals and get rid of it. I always give a tip of 20%. Which means that for 54 euros i would give him 10 euros. I gave him 2.5 euros tip and i think that he did not deserved even this tip. I will avoid this place in the future...

We went for a roadtrip of 5 peope in Kalavryta 1/7/22. From the pictures it felt really promising. And indeed the place is located in nice area with all the trees and stuff. The pics were showing grilled meat. When we went there, they told us that we could only order "normal food" stuff like Moysaka, Spaghetti with minced meat etc etc. When we told them that in country side you go for grilled meat and not for "daily house food" they got a bit rude and we left for other tavern. Later at 19:00 it was closed while the other taverns were still open and had customers. Really...

Πήγαμε σε ώρα αιχμής, μέσα γινόταν ο κακός χαμός από κόσμο αλλά υπήρχε τρομερή οργάνωση...εμείς κάτσαμε στον έξω χώρο με πολυ κρύο και αέρα, γνωρίζοντας οτι θα αργήσουμε πολυ να φαμε, πρέπει να αναφέρω ότι ειμασταν 2 ενήλικες και 2 παιδιά... ξεκινάω με το "παράλογο" της υπόθεσης, ενώ είχε απίστευτα πολύ κόσμο εξυπηρετηθηκαμε σε χρόνο 0... Ο γιος του κατόχου ο οποίος και μας σέρβιρε ήταν ευγενικός, εξυπηρετικος και γενικά πάρα πολύ καλός σε όλα (δεν προσπάθησε να μας "πουλησει" φαγητό αλλά να μας συμβουλέψει το τι μπορεί να αργήσει και το τι θα ήταν καλό να πάρουμε.... έχοντας 2 ανυπόμονα παιδιά στη παρέα, με έκανε να τον εκτιμήσω.... κλείνοντας θα σας πω ότι στο τραπέζι έμειναν μόνο άδεια πιάτα.... Απίστευτα πανσετακια και τεράστια μερίδα... Απίστευτα μπριζολάκια και επίσης τεράστια μερίδα... Μπριζόλα από άλλον πλανήτη και μεγάλη... Αναφέρω μόνο 3 από τα 7 πιάτα που μας άφησαν και εμάς αλλά και τα παιδιά 100% ικανοποιημένους....

Μόνο και μόνο για το μαγαζί θα επισκεφτώ και πάλι τα καλαβρυτα...

Συμβουλή: δοκιμάστε το πριν διαβάσετε κατά τη γνώμη κάποιο ίσως κακό σχόλιο...

Η Ποιότητα και η ποσότητα κατά τη γνώμη μού υπερισχύει της φυσιολογικής...
