IMMAKOLATA — Restaurant in Municipality of Karpathos

Just picked a random resto around Finiki and so glad we picked this and it did not disappoint! Only ordered shrimp pasta and calamari but it was so good esp the pasta! You can even watch them cook because it's an open kitchen. We got a dessert Saragli after our meal. Our server who's the daughter (sorry forgot her name) we asked her if they have Loukoumades and sadly they were not serving it that day. She was so accomodating and even asked us when will we come back so her mom can make it for us! Thank you so much for your hospitality. The food is really delicious and your place is so beautiful and clean.

I am sorry to make a bad review, because the food was alright, but i don’t tolerate deceiving practice, even if it sounds nitpicking. The price list has a purpose and if you order a dish for 7,50€, you don’t expect to pay 12€! Furthermore charging 1€ per person for (quote) ‘napkins and table cover’ without telling this on the price list is outrageous. Last but not least, bread should come for free when you order a spread! (Where else can i ‘spread’ tzatziki??) Bottom line:...

We liked the food (calamari in the oven and the swordfish) and their white wine was exceptionally good. The staff was friendly, but there is a room for improvement: waitress did not acknowledge one of us and also did not give the receipt to the one who paid.
