Old Town — Restaurant in Municipality of Kastoria

The place and the service was decent..nice atmosphere ,in the start it seemed like a house you couldn't understand that,that was a restaurant but once you enter you will see a lot of people.Now regarding the food we ordered "τηγανεια", "κρανεια salad ","πεστροφα ", & "μπουγιουρντι"."τηγανεια" that was with pork was maybe the worst I 've ever eaten ,the pork was bad quality and totally dry..."κρανεια salad" was average not anything special ,mpougiourdi also average very low on mpoukovo or the mpoukovo was not spicy enough,& I would not mind if it had some more olive oil.and at last "καπνιστη πεστροφα " it seeeemed very poor as a dish and not tastefully as I would 've imagined it.i was really upset by the pork quality.Normally I would have put 2 stars but due to the reason that everybody there was really helpfull I will put 3 stars.Last but not least "tsipouro" besides the fact that was expensive was also of below average...

Arrived around 17h30... took a table in outdoor terrace (with 3 more tables sitting there already) and another table getting occupied after ours. Inside the place was fully booked. After waiting for at least 15min without anyone showing up, I entered inside and asked whether the outdoor garden is operating. The manager nodded and asked the waiter to serve us, and I asked for the menus to take a look at them. However, despite he put a heating lamp on for the other table that arrived after us, he never bothered to show up to take the orders (good 15min of wait) neither for us or for the other table which is when we left and looked for our dinner elsewhere. During this time the guests from other tables went in to pick up drinks... Overall really disappointing service, unbelievably poor. If the outdoor terrace is to be closed after sunny hours, state it clear, otherwise make your waiters earn...

Was reasonable. We received a recommendation from our hotel, so we went out to check it in the evening. It turns out that as soon as you finish ordering the dishes you get the meal bill right away; we asked for a second bottle of water from a waiter that passed and he nodded and continued walking. A few minutes later, our waiter came back so we asked him for a bottle of water. We received only one bottle, but the bill said we ordered three. The first courses (zucchini balls, vine leaves, peppers stuffed with cheese) were pretty good, the yogurt was delicious. The main dishes- the lamb taste like ash and the skewered chicken was salty at an exaggerated level. not...
