It took 2,5 hours for the first dish to arrive. No joke, we were all looking at our watches. And the other tables around us were similarly served. There can be no excuse for such delays, you know you’re busy so you hire the right amount of employees. It’s called being a business. The food was mediocre. We noticed that the only people to complain a lot got served a bit faster. And there was no dessert, while we saw that two tables for dessert, the rest of the tables didn’t. Nothing special about the food We went yesterday for lunch we had 3 starters a salad and a main dish. We payied 40 euros we assumed it a little too much for the quantity of food, the quality was just above average nothing special. The atmosphere is good and if you sit outside, like we did the lake view is quite good. This traditional restaurant has it all. Great traditional food and service. The location is by far one of the best in Kastoria. Close to all amenities but far from the noisy cafes on the main Kastoria strip. No loud, deafening music either. This is what a taverna is all about. Atmosphere, setting and service ideal.
