Bounty all aboard - all day bar restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona

Being on holiday, we decided to visit this restaurant given its close proximity to Pireaus port. I went with two families; one having children. We went in the evening. The atmosphere is very warm, relaxed, and child-friendly too. The children were playing outside in the park next to the restaurant. The waitresses that served us were professional and checked our orders and asked us if we had any preferences. As an architect, I fully appreciated the good design of this restaurant – based on its namesake - the Bounty movie. The theme is nautical, and one feels as though one is on the deck of a ship with the rich woods and ropes designed into it.

The menu offers a good variety of grilled meats, pizzas, salads, and some vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered a T-bone and the 3 Mini Burger Bounty for the mains. Both were delicious and generous in size! The steak was tender and cooked to my preference. I had a taste of the (not so mini) burgers - they were delicious! Our friends ordered the grilled meat platter, which looked incredible too – pita bread, roasted potatoes and a variety of grilled meats. We ordered 3 desserts to finish off – the Millefeuille, the Choco Pie and the Oreo Sandwich. Once again, we were spoilt with the generous portion sizes – all the desserts were so delicious! My favourite was the Choco Pie as it had a chocolate cake base with ice cream on top.

We definitely were not disappointed – we really enjoyed ourselves and loved the food. It was such good value for money! When we’re back in Athens we will definitely come back to...

We are long time customers due to the politeness of the waiters NOT REALLY FOR THE FOOD. Pizza for example bbq had a bottle of ketsup on top-not sure why. Burger beef was raw. Meats plate also raw every time we went. In particular today PN MY BIRTDAY the waiter messed up our drinks order by charging items we didn't ask for! When we told him actually instead of accepting his mistake he rudely came to our table with MACHO attitude and tone to convince us that WE ORDER THE WRONG ITEMS AND WASNT HIS MISTAKE! that's horrible and ridiculous behaviour. So in the end the restaurant offers complimentary ice cream. It's a tourist trap. I went there to get pizza and what I got was flavourless, overdone in some parts, undercooked in others.

What makes this a tourist trap is how they kindly come up and give you water, they don't ask if you'd like water they just pour it for you which at first I thought was nice.

When the bill came around thats when I realised how cheeky they were. They tried to charge me for stuff I never ordered and charged me I think €4 for water. Anything I didn't order was conveniently in Greek but I had a translator on my phone ready to go. They added €3 extra for bread which i never ordered.

When I made staff aware of this it took them 15 minutes to get my bill, they kept walking past me and helping others pay their bills. When i asked again they said they have a problem with the card machine which was not true. I was ignored because I caught them out. They were very...
