I was travelling today to Dodecanese and before getting the ferry I was starving.

I was very lucky to find the Kantina o Plastiras through the net. It is literally in the harbour.

The food is delicious, slightly overpriced but OK.

Μία καντίνα που βρίσκεται μέσα στο λιμάνι του Πειραιά στην Πύλη Ε2 .Καλή επιλογή εάν ταξιδεύεις με τα κρητικά καράβια και όχι μόνο!Σε ένα σουρεαλιστικο σκηνικό με φορτηγά, παλιά κτίρια και πλοία είναι ενδιαφέρον να κάτσεις στα τραπέζια με αυτή την θέα!Καλοψημενα χοιρινά καλαμάκια, τηγανιτές πατάτες, χορταστική μερίδα φέτα και κρύα κουτάκια μπύρα τι άλλο να ζητήσει κανείς από μία καλή καντίνα. Έχει πάντως και μπιφτέκια, λουκάνικα και άλλα. Οι τιμές είναι νορμάλ και το σέρβις καλό...

Πολύ τίμια καντίνα, με γρήγορη εξυπηρέτηση και καλές τιμές. Το λουκάνικο και οι τηγανίτες πατάτες γευστικότατα. Το χοιρινό σουβλάκι είναι γευστικό αλλά δίνει την αίσθηση μέτριας ποιότητας κρέατος. Σερβίρει μόνο τεμάχια μαζί με φέτες ψωμί (γευστικό και φρέσκο), οπότε μην περιμένετε σάντουιτς. Ο χώρος έχει 5-6 τραπεζάκια εντός για το χειμώνα. Μας έβαλαν κι ένα σουβλάκι επιπλέον δώρο, κάτι που το εκτιμώ.
