A Arabic/Lebanese restaurant should play Arabic music!!! The house/club music you play destroys the atmosphere. Your salads are good but food in general could be more bold in flavors. You say you have Makanek sausages but the one you serve is Sujuk. Makanek are small sausages and not similar to Sujuk at all. I am disappointed you do not serve muhammarah spread and also your manaish are way too expensive. Speaking of Manaish and Arajes we stopped ordering them as they always arrive burned and you put the burned side downwards on the plate. Your shish tawouk is good but the beef is too chewy. Your keftas could also be bigger for the price and watch out not to burn them. We absolutely love that there is finally Lebanese food in the north but BE LEBANESE! Play arabic music, work on the ambience and the...
Read moreI recently visited Beirut to Athens restaurant and had an okay experience. The food was decent, but the prices were a bit steep for what we received. Unfortunately, a mistake was made with one of our dishes, we requested one thing, but something else arrived instead. Even after they took back the dish to bring the correct one, they once more brought the wrong dish, which we kept as we couldn't wait any longer.
Overall, while Beirut to Athens has some tasty options on their menu, the prices didn't quite match the quality of the food. Additionally, the mistake with our order was a bit of a letdown. However, the staff were friendly and did their best to make things right. If you're looking for Lebanese cuisine in the area, it's worth a visit, but be prepared to pay a bit more than you...
Read moreSaturday night, with a reservation, and we waited for over an hour for our order. They didn't even bring out the salad or appetizers. A group of what I can only assume were friends of the owner, that were seated and ordered after us, got their food half an hour before us. The DJ kept going back and forth between middle eastern music, Snoop Dogg, and dance music.
Food wise, the oriental rice was very tasty, but everything else was mediocre at best. We ordered the beef with garlic and lemon, and it was more like garlic with beef and lemon (and I really like garlic, but this was way too much). The meat in the mix grill plate was overcooked and tough.
They brought out a belly dancer multiple times (between 50 cent and Abba), and at least she was good and entertaining.
Will not be...
