I have been going to Dos Hermanos occasionally for many years as I grew up in the area and this restaurant was probably the first "pioneer" restaurant established by two brothers who have lived in the Americas. The environment and location are great, it is a nice place for a night out for couples, families or among friends. The set up of the restaurant and decoration really make you feel you escape to an exotic central American place, it is obvious Dos Hermanos has put a lot of care into that. The prices are fair and the portions are quite large, the service is very good. The 4 stars and not 5 because the Mexican cuisine they serve is not particularly elaborated and fine, which to be fair to them is the case in most Mexican places outside the Americas and Mexico I have been to: It is heavy to digest, I assume the ingredients are local and not Mexican making the food not really special. I had Mexican food in California USA and in Mexico as well as home food cooked by a Mexican friend and the experience in those cases was vastly superior. In my view in Europe most Mexican restaurants cannot "escape" from a nearly fast food level of cuisine. For me Dos Hermanos delivers a nice and honest experience overall but strictly food wise this is not a cuisine or place I am craving for. There is nothing special to remember the next day about this food on the contrary one risks to have a hard time digesting if eating and...
Read moreI'm overall pleased with the service. The staff was welcoming and kind and their service fast. We got the chili fries which were delicious, so were the chicken nachos. As a main, I got minced meat tacos which is the only thing I was not satisfied with. The wrap was greasy, just as if you were eating straight up oil. The contents of the tacos were delicious, though! And so where the side dishes that accompanied the tacos. My friends tried the burritos and I got a bite as well, they were really good and I prefered them over my taco. The portions were good, we were full even after the appetizers. The atmosphere was excellent, the music was just a little loud but we didn't mind. The way they've decorated the shop is beautiful and makes you feel like you're in Mexico! There is a second floor, although, I didn't get to see it. Visited during a Saturday afternoon, wasn't packed. It is on the expensive side but definitely worth the money if you're looking for some good Mexican food...

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the overall service very good
Food is nice and tasty though some concerns with the cocktails.
Second time trying the same cocktail mezca del capo. First time all ok, second time it makes me wonder whether it was spiked as we all got really dizzy ( we were 4 ppl shared 1 cocktail between 2 and even though we were having food, and next day felt also weird)
Food is lovely and tasty. Prawns are phenomenal either as salad with avocado or main. I personally would avoid all the quesadillas or burritos etc as they are exceptionally heavy, with loads of cheese beans, sauces etc etc which ends up making it a bit sickish. The other mains are good. Fajitas are a great choice and so is moles (chocolate with spicy sauce).
Finally, they need to update their menus as some things are not...
