Mammals, Insects, clams, shells + a whole floor of minerals , with good written descriptions all around in one place. Visit is good for younger kids too, just to have the 1st real world feeling with animals and natural world other than YouTube and documentaries . Every now and then museum organize some great events , with projections and other cool activities and offers a big rooms with tables so families can attend to. A small cafe is on the basement and you can enjoy a coffee or beverages. Covid measures were ON, and checking took place in the entrance. Also liquid disinfectants were strategically placed all around. What I would like to have in a future visit some VR guides or some QR-Code narration with information for exhibits but also ecological aspects , if they are threatened in their physical places and how this will affects our existence. I certainly recommend to visit the place. Small tip , on the smaller tags f.e at insects section , you can actually read when the exhibit was collected and from where... That...

We had such a good experience with my 2 kids (11 and 5). The permanent exibition is very interesting. We saw all kind of animals, bugs, seashells, birds and more. Of course, kids get more excited with the dinosour and giraffe! :) The time we went they had also 2 changing exibitions. First was an interactive exibition about the climate change. It was not only fun for kids and adults because we could press the buttons but also we learned a lot! Higly suggested. Also, we went to learn more about the earthquick. Unfortinatley the earthquick maschine was not working but we watched a short video about all the processes. For additional price, kids also could attend planetarium. You can choose 2 themes but our kids attended about the dinosours. The bone section was closed. But overall, we had a really good time, we were there more than 3 hours and not a moment we were bored. A place to visit...

The garden restaurant is a beautiful place and the setting is elegant. The food is average but the service quality is not up to standard for the place. The staff needs training and better manners. We had a special request for health reasons nothing extravagant just a removal of a vegetable and replacement with another for diabetic reasons and we got a negative and rude we dont do these things this is our orders. I remembered my boarding school days. If we had time to go elsewhere we would so we had to raise our tempers and ask for the manager who partially solved the problem without an apology though. Manner wise the staff has a long way to be comensurate with the places status and the...

It is a lovely museum in a beautiful location, with a charming garden and a nice café. It has quite a few exhibits, though overall, it could benefit from some upgrades. Many of the display cases have slightly foggy or dirty glass, and signs of aging are visible, The labels for the exhibits are very small, outdated, and hard to read, which makes exploring the museum more difficult. There are more modern ways to present exhibits, and it would be beneficial to update the displays—especially since there is no tour guide available. Still, it was a pleasant experience. We were lucky to visit on International Museum Day, so we got to see all the exhibits and performances for free. Thank you!

Nice place to visit especially for families with kids. Although not a huge collection is exhibited, the information shared, the way of presentation and the amiable staff makes the visit a very nice experience and a place to learn things. There are three areas the natural history area, the climate change area and the earthquake section. If you are interested for the dome note that you must visit the museum well before 12 and you need to pay 5 euro more per person. Also, if you are travelling by car brace yourself because the free parking in the area is really challenging to find and the prices of paid ones are out of logic e.g. 5 euro for half hour.
