YELLOW — Restaurant in Municipality of Kifisia

If you're looking for a decent restaurant to dine in near Kifisia and Nea Erithraia, Yellow is a pretty safe and sure bet. There's plenty of appetizers, main dishes and meat of all kinds to choose from and of course a few desserts. The quality of the ingredients and the quantity of food of each dish are above average, hitting pretty good for some dishes. We loved the t-bone steaks and the salmon fillet. The country style fries are pretty good too. The atmosphere is nice and the place and the tables are spacious. It can be busy even on weekdays, almost full most of the time during the weekends, so book a priori! Along with Stoffa, a highly recommend restaurant in the area. Forgot to mention, the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the ingredients and the quantity. Very reasonable for the area I have to admit. Will visit again for sure (it's already been 3 times in the last two months)....

I joined my family from Greece for a celebratory dinner and man, did this place not disappoint. The food was outstanding. My lamb shank was delicate and moist. It sat on a bed of couscous that was the best I’ve ever tasted. El dente doesn’t deceive the texture. The pizza option was perfect for my eight year old. They offer unique salads and different appetizers. What I mean is they still felt and tasted Greek but twisted and hybridized in a sense. I bring this up because they offer something different/unique while still feeling Greek origins. My only issue is with the theme of the restaurant. I just don’t get it. I thought the restaurants of my youth which represented the worst parts of the Greek "high society" were a thing of the past. Unfortunately a yet another fiscal crisis in the last 200 hundreds caused insignificant ripples to this very resilient part or the Greek society.

The food is good and some dishes very good but nothing exceptional.

The vibe is bad though. There is nothing happy, there is a very intense pretentious atmosphere and both staff and customers feel like someone has died....
