Ησυχη γωνια- Isichi gonia — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

We visited this place around 9pm and were surprised to find it almost empty, unlike the neighboring restaurants which were all full. We ordered a Pita Gyros and a Pasta. The Gyros arrived almost immediately, but the Pasta took much longer, leaving my partner waiting while I was already eating.

Unfortunately, the food quality was very disappointing. The meat in the Gyros didn’t taste fresh, and the pita was soaked in old, greasy oil. When the Pasta finally came, it was overcooked, the tomato sauce was bland, and worst of all, the cheese on top was moldy. We pointed this out right away, and although they apologized repeatedly, they admitted it was the only cheese they had and couldn’t offer a fresh one. They did offer to get cheese from another restaurant, but by then we had already lost our appetite.

To make matters worse, we found black hair strands in the pasta. At that point, we decided to stop eating, pay, and leave. The staff didn’t ask if anything was wrong or how the food was, and we were charged the full amount despite everything.

Sadly, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't recommend...

the pita gyros here are the best I’ve ever had. It was so delicious and so cheap. It was €4.50 but I honestly would have payed more for how fresh the food was. Hopefully in the near future they have more customers because their food is honestly top tier with good prices. The server was also really appreciative and super nice. I would recommend this place to anyone nearby looking for a pleasant meal that will not break your wallet, especially if you’re a family...

I am So grateful to find this place/ local/ family owned/ inside looks like a house but … the food? AUTHENTIC FRESH / I NEVER HAD A GYRO AND SALAD THIS FRESH, so delicious we ordered extra , to go, and yes you can take out your food if you are in a hurry. The prices are incredible, you must try, you wont regret it. Got a delicious dessert on the house and we had 2 gyros...
