Beautiful view, the worst food I have ever had on Kos. Trusting the good reviews on TripAdvisor and Google, we decided to have lunch there. The menu highlighted lamb and pork roasted in a clay oven, so we ordered two portions of lamb and one portion of pork roast. The staff, of course, also brought appetizers that we didn't ask for, mostly spreads, but we didn't want to make a fuss about that. The main dishes arrived relatively quickly, as did the disappointment. The portions were quite small compared to what we are used to in Greece, but even worse, everything was pre-cooked and simply reheated in a microwave. The pork was especially inedible. In over 30 years of vacationing in Greece, I have never been served reheated roast. We explicitly asked if the sauce was over the roast or on the side, and they said it would be on the side. That was not the case. The sauce was poured over the roast to cover up the fact that the meat had been reheated. We often prepare roasts ourselves and can easily tell if it is fresh or reheated. We shared our impressions with the staff, which offended them greatly, and they no longer wanted to approach our table, essentially ignoring our requests for the bill. I do not recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Greek food.
