Vrahos rooms — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

I would highlight before conducting this review that we have a perfectly decent time at Vrahos rooms and in Kos in general. However, maybe in part due to our own misunderstanding of where we were staying, the overall experience fell well short of expectations. The over arching problem was the service, or the complete absence of it. The reception resembled a forgotten cupboard and was not once manned at any point during our stay. When someone eventually came up from the bar to show us to our rooms they rushed us in and went back to downstairs as quickly as possible without offering any explanation of what services were on offer (WiFi, relationship to the bar below, food, etc). During our three night stay the room was never cleaned and whilst we were eventually able to get some useful information out of the waitresses at the bar downstairs, it was clear they were not associated with the rooms themselves.

The location was great. The sea view was great. The beach bar was great. The room was ok. The service non-existent. Would recommend staying here but only if you plan to out and about for the majority...

We stayed here for 1 night while transiting through Kardamaina/Kos. The staff were friendly and helped us organise a taxi to the airport for the next morning. The room was okay for 1 night. The mattress was comfortable.

Floor was not really clean, it had dust particles all over. The bathroom is really small and tight. Everything gets wet when you have a shower. The shampoo was watered down and smelt bad so we did not use it. One of the shampoos was half used. The airconditioner wasn't really cooling down the place even though the room is really small. It also switched off a couple of times while displaying some error codes.

The bar next door to the hotel/rooms (Greg's Place) is really loud and noisy. There was karaoke there till 1AM-2AM and we did not get a good sleep. The music was...

Just finished an amazing stay here for 5 nights. It sells itself on the location and facilities whilst also having modern clean and basic rooms. Exactly what we wanted. Closer to an air b&b (or very small hotel) with a bar and restaurant downstairs than a conventional hotel in our experience . There were no glasses in the room for example but when asked they were happy to provide with glasses and bowels for us to use on our balcony seating. There we so many great facilities, free anytime use of paddle boards and sun beds in prime location. They were extremely accommodating let us check out extreamly late and held our bags until our night flight. I couldn't reccomend it enough so much so my mum is coming to stay! If I came back I'd...
