We booked a table for 7.30pm and when we arrived it was very quiet but by 9pm it was very busy, so if you're looking to eat from 8.30pm onwards, I'd say make sure you book. Excellent service, food was very good, my partner had the Greek Salad which she said was the best she'd ever eaten and although I'm not a salad kinda guy, I have to say, it looked Excellent. I was disappointed that there was no Ribeye Steak due to being sold out so had to opt for Sirloin which is not a cut I generally would choose but it was nice and cooked well. Cheesecake at €13 I thought was a bit pricey but had to try it, my god am I glad I did, absolutely beautiful and it was large enough for the two of us BUT I could have absolutely devoured it myself. The evening finished off with a complimentary glass of something, the taste and smell of what ever this was again, beautiful and tasted so different to the other cheap nasty stuff the other restaurants are throwing away at you at other restaurants. We picked this place from the reviews and glad we did, yes it's more expensive than your normal places down though what I would call the main strip but you do get what you pay for. Good side: the food, the flavours and the place is just amazing. We had the best quality food here from all we had in Crete so far. We had a grill plate we were not able to cope with, although we were 2 grown-ups and two kids, the appetizers were also excellent, and the preparation of the food is from an other World. The meat was tasteful and juicy, well prepared and handled with good care throughout the cooking process. Neutral: the staff was not so enthusiastic, but not bad at all. They just seemed too busy to give us more attention. Bit on the negative side: prices are a bit high. We were staying at a neighbouring resort and we were glad to find this gem. For a week, we’ve been eating touristy meals offered by our resort and restaurants nearby. We were so happy to find this restaurant which serves traditional cretan food. Everything tasted amazing and their homemade wine was so good. We were told its organic as well. We loved it so much they even gave us a whole bottle! They also gave us free dessert and raki :) The family that runs it are so lovely we were gutted that we only found out about them on our last night in Crete. They only opened recently and the furnishing is very new and hip. Would recommend this place...
