This restaurant is a gem. Six of us (2 from the USA, 2 from Sweden, and 2 from Indonesia, all experienced international travelers) dined at Taverna HARILAOS (ΧΑΡΙΛΑΟΣ) on two nights, and we all agreed: The experience was special. While the food was wonderful, more importantly the ambiance was genuinely Greek, which was largely due to the warm and sincere hospitality of the owner and his wife. Their welcoming and accommodating personalities overcame our inability to speak Greek and dissolved any language barrier.
