O Chondros Tavern — Restaurant in Municipality of Marathonas

Atmosphere: Very nice and relaxed atmosphere along the beach, nice decorations. Overall, 9/10 here. Food:Generally, the cooks are quite skilled. The appetizers were quite nice, the Turkish Sausage was particularly nice and spicy, the chicken meals were juicy and nicely seasoned. However, atleast at the time I went to the restaurant, the steak/cow dishes were very tough to eat and not extremely appetizing. Overall, 8.5/10 on the food. The menu is very varied, with a variety of fish, chicken and meat dishes on the menu.Overall, 8.5/10 on the food.

Service: Regarding the steak, apparently they did not have the good cuts of meat delivered to them yet, which is why it was tough, and for this reason our waitress removed the steaks from the total bill without me ever requesting it, which was a very nice gesture. The waiters and waitresses are generally steadfast, work promptly and are very well mannared. Overall, 10/10 here.

Ultimately, I rate this restaurant a 8.75/10, I reccomend this restaurant to anyone wanting a nice, casual dinner...

I visited this tavern for the first time today. I made a reservation by phone and the lady was so kind ! We were given a table at the balcony overlooking the sea. So many delicious food choices ! The waiter was very polite and provided recommendations . He told us that portions were large. Salad was delicious , feta in the oven very nice , zucchini balls very nice, sea bass on the grill which the cleaned from bones in front of us (!!!) , burger with pulled pork and beef fillet everything was delicious ! Waiters were available at all times! A nice frozen lemon was provided at the end which completed our feast lunch ! We thank the owners and all personnel for the wonderful time and we will be back!! My friends from Sweden were delighted !! We will certainly be back με ή χωρίς ανοιχτό φακό...

We have visited this beautiful restaurant 4 times now, each time the service is excellent, very attentive. Last time we went 2 days ago, I had the Alchemy Burger (next door also is a restaurant), the food as incredible, they are shared as two restaurants. My partner and I had Zuchini Fritters and Saganaki for starters alongside the Greek Salad, it was all beautifully cooked. Really tastey and came very quick. At the end of meal we were given a complimentary lemon sorbet shot, I said I loved them to the waitors, they came back and gave us another one each. Fair prices, great sea view and a lovely calm environment. I would highly recommend if you are fussy like me.. I look at reviews for...
