Our last day in Athens and I wanted to gorge on Greek food! This place was near our airport hotel. I almost passed on as their sign board is in Greek only. But reviews were good so went in. I agree that this may be the best Greek food ever!!! Warning, the portion sizes are huge, so order accordingly! The salad was scrumptious and was shared by three! Luckily, our server told us to order only one as we had initially ordered two! The apple pomegranate juice was splendid! We are vegetarian and there were so many options. Every item was top notch! Great authentic Greek experience. Ambience is awesome and there were multigenerational families sitting and enjoying. Kids were running around and people were loud, but we enjoy that! One of my best experiences in Greece! I stopped in Markopoulo Mesogaias just for one evening tavelling to Athens International Airport and Sindetiras tavern was simply the best option I may hope to find to pleasantly spend the dinner. The menu has plenty of options of food and drinks, both with and without alcohol, prices are reasonable. Food and drinks are great and well-served. The ambient is very nice, warm, friendly and welcoming. The weitress who took care of my stay was extremely nice, kind and professional, could communicate in a perfect English and was defnitely one of the (few) most attentive hosts I met during my little trip in Greece. Even the pickiest eaters will be impressed — everything from the menu to the service and the cozy garden vibes was simply delightful. ✨ The atmosphere feels like a secret garden escape, with comfy seating and warm, welcoming energy.
