PIZZA MICHELE — Restaurant in Municipality of Markopoulo Mesogaias

We came to Athens last night for a lay over for our flight and we messaged the restaurant in advance just to ensure they were open as we would be arriving around 10pm. They messaged back and offered to send us the menu and also order some pizzas now for a time so we were not waiting around in the shop. My husband went and collected the pizzas as we were tired and needed to get some rest before the next leg of our journey. We had Pasta Michele and Pizza Cipolle Caramellate, one can of Cola Light, one can of Fanta Orange and two bottles of water. It came to around 20 euros which was a bargain. Super fresh cooked food, a gorgeous thin base pizza and a nice touch with the caramelised onion. My husband is a pizza lover and he asked me last night to ensure we did a review as he really enjoyed the food and service...

Our family of 5 have been visiting Greece for 2 weeks. We were on our way to the airport to fly to Kephalonia for a week and discovered we were craving pizza. We are so glad we stopped! BEST pizza ever! We shared the classic pepperoni pizza and also a Hellenic Pizza with added pepperoni. The crust was so light and airy. The sauce and toppings had wonderful flavor. Our daughter opted for the chicken pasta with mushrooms. The portion was good sized and VERY delicious.Chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce was creamy and savory. The linguini noodles were cooked to perfection. We are actually planning on visiting here again on our way back home...

We were in a mood for pizza on our last day in Greece and were recommended to this place which was just a 2 minute walk from where we were staying. At first, we could not find it since it is actually tucked away in the square area of the building behind the grocery store. They have a few tables open to dine in.
