We visited twice. Service was impeccable. Even when we walked by generally we get an acknowledgement from the staff. First evening. We were offered a chilled soup as an amuse bouche. We had vine leaves and Greek salad for starters.I had the chicken souvlaki. It used chicken breast and was generous. I found it moist but not the tastiest. My other half had the fish of the day. That was delicious. My son had the grilled octopus which he enjoyed. It was a generous portion. My daughter had the schnitzel which they couldn't do in kids portion so we had plenty of leftovers. The service was excellent and we left satisfied. We had a second try because my son wanted a pizza. They had a special of spare ribs with chips and whole bream with grilled vegetables. I enjoyed the fish immensely and my husband his ribs. My daughter had the chicken nuggets, you do need to order a side separately for these. My daughter said they were okay but not her favorite... she eats a lot of nuggets so can tell good from not so good. My son had a pizza which was topped with salami, ham, bacon and peppers. He enjoyed it. The bill second time round was significantly higher because of the fish and ribs. We had a Greek salad to share but would have left it as the grilled vegetables were a generous portion and I couldn't finish both which was a shame. I would definitely recommend if you're in the chrani area. And we already went back twice. In my daughter's words, if she lived locally she would be a regular. So go...

We take family and friends to Allegro whenever they stay as it has such a friendly vibe and atmosphere. The quality of food is the best in the village and to our surprise and delight we received a complimentary starter of carrot soup which was absolutely delicious. My wife is vegan and she loved her pasta dish. We also often go for pre dinner cocktails which are always a hit with our guests. Pina cola and mai tai are big favourites. Great restaurant for lovers of Greek and Mediterranean food. Their spareribs are simply amazing (order 2 days in advance, because they cannot get them from local butchers). On Saturday there is grilled chicken, looking forward to sampling that.

The staff is super friendly, we even got to taste the spicy cheese dip before ordering it. It was delicious. The only slight downside (and I'm nitpicking here) is that they are situated directly next to the road through Chrani, however, at dinner time, there is hardly any traffic, so no...
