Disappointed overall with the experience at Principote. We went to Scorpios yesterday, which was a much more elevated experience.
Two day beds at Principote was 240 euro and a cabana at Scorpios was 200 euro (better bang for your buck across the board at Scorpios).
The receptionists are not friendly. The beach staff are not friendly or attentive. The club is very crowded. It is family friendly, but if you are looking for a child free atmosphere you won’t get it. We were seated by 3 families with a total of 8 children under the age of 5. We heard lots of crying within the first 10 minutes so we asked the staff to speak with management. After the third request to speak with management, we walked directly to reception. By the time we spoke to management it had been a 45 minute wait and when I explained to the manager how long we waited to speak to him his response was, “oh, that’s not bad.”
Once seated in a new location we waited another 25 minutes for service. We asked for sparkling water, but received still water. After waiting another 25 minutes or so to correct the order (and also place an order for other beverages) the server admitted to her mistake by bringing still water but proceeded to ask us if we would just keep it because she was very busy.
While seated on the day beds we observed a couple pay their bill and when they left staff folded up the used towels and placed them down instead of providing the future patron with new towels.
The food at lunch in the restaurant was very good. It took 30 minutes for us to place our order, however, once the food was delivered the service was exceptional - from cutting our meat and serving our food to clearing off the table every time something spilt. The vibe/atmosphere in the restaurant is great.
Once we got back to the beach after lunch the glasses for the sparkling water we worked so hard to get were gone and the umbrella was down. We requested new glasses and a glass of wine. After 30 minutes we got the glass of wine but still needed glasses for the sparkling water. Ten minutes later we got the glasses for the sparkling water.
Overall, I’d come here for a meal but I would not come for the beach/day beds. Be prepared to spend more than half your...
Read moreDear Mykonos Guests,
I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.
The worst part of our visit was the so-called manager on duty, who deliberately refused to provide his contact details, saying he “doesn’t share them with strangers.” He was wearing a fully black outfit, and had brown eyes. It is unacceptable for someone calling himself a manager to refuse to identify himself during a potentially challenging situation. Our visit took place on 19.08.2025 from 3 PM onwards. The main discussion was in front of all hostess team.
The issue arose due to a minimum spend policy that was never communicated during the booking process via email. Upon arrival (on a Tuesday), we were told we had to choose between: • A quiet area with no minimum spend, or • A “party area” with a €2,500 minimum spend on alcohol only (food not included).
This information was hidden until arrival. For anyone planning lunch here, please be aware that such conditions exist and are not disclosed upfront.
Despite ordering a €500 magnum (1.5L) of Veuve Clicquot, two bottles of Chablis, several cocktails, and a full dining experience (starters & mains for all guests), it was still deemed “not enough.”
Sadly, the staff demonstrated a shocking lack of hospitality, professionalism, and basic courtesy. The overall experience was defined by rudeness, hidden requirements, and untrained employees who seem to have no idea how to treat guests.
I cannot recommend this venue under any circumstances.
*Best highlight, after confronting the aforementioned “manager of duty” I was threatened being denied entry/blacklisted after since 😂
I truly don’t care, as I would never like to come back!

Read moreWhilst in Mykonos we visited a number of other beach clubs but I would say this was my least favourite beach. The sun beds were so tightly packed in that you had no privacy. Even the 100s of staff had no where to stand so you felt they were hovering over you all the time. The beach was windy, watch out because on a really windy day it can be unpleasant and the sea was wavy not the beautiful calm sea you get on other parts of the island. As expected the place was full of Dior/designer cladded people (which I knew we would get and found hilarious 😂), the music got progressively louder as the day wore on which was fine because the DJ was very good, disappointingly though even at 7pm there was no party I was expecting dancing on tables but the people there were too cool to dance. Come 6 the staff started clearing around us on the beach, stacking up sun beds etc… and told us whilst we could stay, our part of the beach was closing which I found odd. We also had lunch in the restaurant which whilst very expensive was nice, so it made the prices more bearable. Our experience of the service was different to other reviewers, we didn’t have to wait (tbh if I had been made to wait more than 15 mins would have left!), the staff we had servicing us were (with the exception of one on the beach) nice, the service in the restaurant was the best we’ve had on the island. For the beach alone I would have rated this place a 2 but the only reason I have given it 3 is because of our experience of the restaurant. I’ll be honest it’s just not worth it. There are nicer beaches with better atmospheres to be found elsewhere...
