Akrogiali Cafe Snack — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We arrived at Apollonas late afternoon, looking for for drinks. We picked Akrogiali as the cafe had comfortable seats and a great view of Apollonas. When the young man, Agapitos, brought our drinks I asked if there was a bar in the village showing the Euros semi finals. Agapitos didn't know but said he would phone around. Unfortunately there weren't any. We called back later for a drink and Agapitos said he had eventually tracked down one place. So we were able to watch England win through to the final the next night after eating 2 great club sandwiches at Akrogiali. The food was excellent and the drinks (Nissos beer in particular). Agapitos went well beyond service you would expect from a cafe/bar/ restaurant. After a series of events, my family and I ran out of gas late at night and rolled into this little town. Fortunately, we found the owner cleaning up his shop for the night and asked if we could get something for my daughter to eat - anything really.
