Livadi cafe + restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

We spent a week in Schinoussa , in an apartment next door to the Livadi studios. We ate at the taverna a good few times and can only recommend it. When my son tried to order Kalamari for the third day in a row, he got a nasty look from the lady, which we could only agree with 😁 Instead we convinced him to try the meatballs. Ristorante con bella terrazza che affaccia sulla spiaggia di Livadi, ambiente gradevole; servono pesce ( uno dei pochi dell’isola di’ Schinoussa) cucinato in modo molto basico, ma i prezzi sono alti per ciò che si mangia. Diversi piatti indicati in lista non sono disponibili; noi abbiamo preso totani fritti, buoni ma la porzione è davvero piccola, neppure in un ristorante blasonato italiano te ne servono così pochi ed una piccolo trancio di tonno, dall’aspetto anemico, buttato in un piatto senza un minimo di grazia e senza alcun condimenti e una taramosalada senza infamia e senza lode e sei piccolissime acciughe marinate, una bottiglia di acqua naturale e una piccola birra il tutto a 58€. Onestamente sia usciti ancora affamati, 30€ non sono pochi per lo standard greco. Rispetto ad altre isole, soprattutto a Creta, qui a a Schinoussa, isola per il resto stupenda, abbiamo mangiato veramente male. Il servizio appena...
