ΧΟΝΟΛΟΥΛΟΥ ζυθεστιατόριο — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Smyrni

When I say, this may have been the worst experience in Athens, I mean it. We had booked a table for 4 here for me, my bestie, and our fur kids. I arrive and as soon as they saw Biskotaki, they changed the table in front of me on the system to put us a broken table furthest away from everyone. When we asked for a new table, we were told it wasn't possible. The waitress said there was nothing wrong. When we asked why our table was changed, the staff told us they could not tell us why. We were discriminated for having dogs at a place that was deemed "Pet Friendly." We then were moved to another table but we couldn't sit because we had to move a chair so it would not be in the pathway for the pedestrians. I then went to talk to the manager of who was so rude. I told him we booked for a table of 4 and he goes but you are 2 people. I said we are 4...2 people and 2 dogs. He's like the dogs dont eat. I go, I order for my dog everywhere I go. He then proceeded to say... "You are one of those people."

I then decided because this restaurant was so disgusting and disrespectful, its not worth the 200 euro minimum we would have spent. I have never felt so degraded or disrespected anywhere in Athens with my dog.

They flat out lied about our table, sat us on a broken table (which didnt match the rest), refused to seat us at another table, and had so much attitude.

I wouldn't recommend this at all. Better restaurants...

Well it seems like, working under new administration, finally payed off. I liked everything about that restaurant and here's why.. To begin with, you can enjoy a really tasty glass of wine while listening to some jazz and blues classics 👌 I really liked the fact that the place was clean, cozy and warm. Furthermore the service was absolutely the best, making you feel like home, people were very calmed, nice and polite, while they were also going back and forth to serve everyone's needs. Though the magic really starts by the time the appetizers are served. I took Dakos, and talagani cheese with housemade jam which were both crazy good. For the main plate I took a tomahawk stake, and that's right were I decided to write down my review. That particular plate was lovely. I hit it off with another glass of red wine, to finish with a banoffe tart. The vibe was overall amazing, leaving me astonished with not a single small complaint to have for the night. The prices were also just at the right place making that delicious food even more worth. I really liked that place and i would definitely be recommending it for anyone that loves great food but doesn't want to pay 70...

Λυπάμαι πολύ που γράφω αυτή την αξιολόγηση για το στέκι της γειτονιάς μας που πολύ είχαμε αγαπήσει το τελευταίο χρόνο .αξιζει να τη διαβάσετε Ή Χονολουλού έχει εξαιρετικό φαγητό αλλά εξαιρετικά αγενές προσωπικό Για να εξηγήσω: επισκεπτόμαστε σχεδόν κάθε μήνα μια παρέα με τα σκυλάκια μας χειμώνα. Πολύ αγάπη και φροντίδα είχαμε εισπράξει ..για αυτό και χθες 1 Αυγούστου κάλεσα ένα φίλο μου με το σκύλο του να μας επισκεφτεί στη Χονολουλού γιατί κάπως ήξερα ότι θα φάμε εξαιρετικά & επίσης τα σκυλάκια μας θα ήταν σε ένα όμορφο & φιλόξενο χώρο Μέγα λάθος ! Έκανα κράτηση ( αντί να πάρω τηλέφωνο ) μέσω google για 4 για να έχουμε χώρο και φυσικά στον εξωτερικό χώρο ( σημειώνω εδώ ότι ότι ο ένας σκύλος είναι πιστοποιημένος service dog) Φτάνουμε, η κοπέλα που μας δέχτηκε στράβωσε τη μούρη της και αμέσως άλλαξε το τραπέζι μας μπροστά στα μάτια μας και μας μετέφεραν στην άκρη άκρη σε ένα τραπέζι για 2 … Δε λέω τίποτε αλλά προφανώς μου κακοφάνηκε Το τραπέζι σπασμένο προφανώς το «πρόχειρο» που βάζουμε για «ανεπιθύμητους» Κουνάγε τύπου δε στέκεται ποτήρι !!!! Ζητάω ευγενικά αν μπορεί να γίνει κάτι για να εισπράξω απάντηση : « αυτό είναι το τραπέζι. Αν σας αρέσει. Δεν μπορώ να κάνω κάτι (!!!)»» Ζητώ να μιλήσω με κάποιον άλλο γιατί προφανώς εκνευρίστηκα Για να ξεκινήσει μια σειρά από κοροϊδίες ότι «θα σας βάζαμε μέσα αλλά ο ένας σκύλος είναι μεγάλος , η κράτηση ήταν για 4 και είστε δύο οπότε δε σας δίνουνε το αρχικό σας τραπέζι, ναι θα σας αλλάζαμε τραπέζι αν μας λέγατε να σας βάζαμε στο αρχικό σας τραπέζι και δεν ερχόντουσαν άλλοι ( αναρωτιέμαι τα σκυλιά αόρατα ), είμαστε pet friendly σας φέραμε νερό γιατί παραπονιέστε» και άλλα τέτοια Αλλάζουμε με τα πολλά τραπέζι και μας πάνε δίπλα στο αποθηκακι τροφίμων. Ζητω μια καρέκλα γιατί ο μικρός σκύλος είναι ανήσυχος που η πόρτα δίπλα μας ανοίγει συνέχεια για να βάλω το χαλάκι του και να κάτσει. Φέρνουν τη καρέκλα για 2 λεπτά & μετά την παίρνουν γιατί το τραπέζι είναι για 2 και θα κάνει παρατηρήση ο δημος που η καρέκλα ακουμπά στη γραμμή (;;;) Κάπου εκεί τα νεύρα σπάσανε και ζητήσαμε το αρχικό τραπέζι της κράτησης Ή απάντηση ήταν ότι δε γίνεται Το μαγαζί άδειο γιατί ήταν 19.30 το απόγευμα Ζητήσαμε να πάμε στο δίπλα των 3 ατόμων γιατί με την πόρτα της αποθήκης ήταν δύσκολο Απάντηση : «Όχι δε γίνεται είναι κρατημένο για τις 21.30 & η κράτηση προηγείται» - μα και εγώ έχω κάνει κράτηση - «την κάνατε ηλεκτρονικά όχι μέσω τηλεφώνου» ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟΙ ! Θα προτιμούσα να πουν «δε μας αρέσει ο 1 σκύλος και δε γίνεται να σας εξυπηρετήσουμε σήμερα / θα το άκουγα και θα το καταλάβαινα ΧΧΧ πλέον στη Χονολουλού ! Banned ‘ Ελπίζω να...
