The place is a scam for tourists. Drinks in menu have one price, but when you get the bill it is another price. I ordered Negroni and the waiter literally showed me the price in the system, it was 8€, my girlfriend ordered milkshake from the menu with the price 4-6€ (depending on what is used in the milkshake). When I paid, the Negroni was 10€ and milkshake 7€. I have asked why the price is different, on what they answered: “The prices in the menu are from the last year, we did not correct them.” What?? And how in this case the customer needs to know the correct price ? Also I have told that your waiter told me the Negroni will be 8€ and showed me the price in the system (on the device where they put orders). After that they told the same thing and pretended they do not understand. Also the bill was not indicating the name or cocktail and milkshake, it was just the same Greek word “drink” - “ποτό” Avoid this place, even if the prices are like this, the same Negroni will cost you 8-8.5€ in any bar on the sea beach! And this place is located near the road where tons of cars are passing by. I have never expected such behavior from Greek place, usually people are welcoming here and do not treat tourists...
Read moreI got myself a cappuccino at Istros cafe, and I was not disappointed. The service was superb, with the staff being very professional and welcoming. The coffee was great, with a rich and flavorful taste that hit the spot. The overall atmosphere of the place felt warm and inviting, with great outdoors seating and a relaxing ambiance. Istros cafe is a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee to catch up with friends, or simply relax. If you're looking for a top-notch cafe experience in Acharavi, Istros cafe is definitely worth a visit. Also there is not a lot of parking near it so if you do find it packed, I would suggest finding somewhere near to park...
Read moreI am giving this place a bad review on the principle of the price. The quality is good, but this is otherwise a proper tourist trap. 23.80€ for a couple of croissants, 2 orange juices and two coffees is just borderline criminal. And if you are paying that much, the orange juice should come before the coffee. It’s just really inhospitable not to have the prices in full display when they are this high. If one is aware and still decides to lurk around that’s fine, otherwise you feel somewhat robbed. I mean, I have been everywhere in Greece, I never paid this much in, say, Athens. Why do this to...
