Very rude staff — the waitress did not allow us to sit at the table we wanted because, as she told us, it was only available for those who wanted to order food. However, she also told us that the kitchen hadn’t opened yet, and at the other tables there were tourists who hadn’t ordered food and were simply drinking coffees… It was obvious that the problem was that we were Greek, and the place was clearly a tourist trap. Last year we had visited that place earlier in the summer, and of course they let us sit for coffee without any problem, as the place was empty due to the season. However, an equally unpleasant incident occurred when they asked me to put something on over my swimsuit — without, of course, making the same request to a group of girls who were not Greek… It’s not worth giving your money to such exploiters and racists — there are plenty of great places in the area you can...
Read moreFirst, we had Cheese and jam + Shrimp as appetizers. The cheese was good, but then they brought us 4 shrimps for 12 euros. 3 euros per shrimp (and not the jumbo type either), this is not a joke.
The "bread" consists of one bun per person.
The main courses were decent (lamb steaks and pancetta risotto), even though 19 euros for 3 slices of lamb is a bit excessive.
Not to mention that we were told from the get go that they didnt have any of the traditional courses in the menu (it was a Monday night, so that might explain it).
No olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper or napkins on the table.
We left before dessert, as the restaurant had an extremely noisy table and nobody from the staff even tried talking to them.
Do not go here. There is a restaurant 100m from this one called Porto Timoni, it is one of the best restaurants on the island and the staff is worthy of a...
Read moreOur lady server was very nice, so was the place with the view. Other than that we were dissapointed. We had a fish for 19€ which was supposed to come with boiled vegetables. We as well ordered fries. Well, the fish was the ok but by far the least tasty from all we had on Corfu, but it was far the most expensive. The vegetable was just some biled green leaves that looked like spinach but tasted very very bitter. The fries tasted like cheap frozen fries fried two times, but they costs 4€. Value for the money in this restaurant is very low, of course there is a nice view, but that is almost everywhere in that area, they should have good food to charge high price. At the end, we got ouzo on the house with a lipstick on the glass. Not sure if that is something to complain about, but well, it was not...
