Maístro — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

The most terrible customer service I've ever received. There's literally NO communication between the staff, orders go missing and the wait staff takes literal hours to check with you, they'll forget your dishes or never put them through the kitchen and you won't get as much as a single 'sorry'.

We were sat down (with a reservation) and someone took our order, a couple of appetizers and two gyros portions. 1.5 hours later, no sign of either the appetizers or the mains. When we flagged her, our waitress informed us our order never actually reached the kitchen due to a "technical error". She told us if we placed our order again, the kitchen would prioritise it and she personally guaranteed we'd get our appetizers within 5 minutes and the mains - within 10. Half an hour later, the appetizers arrived, no sign of the mains. We flagged another waiter who -- despite promising to -- never checked with the kitchen.

At this point, half our group has been waiting for ANY food for 2+ hours and the waitress claimed the system "glitched" again and the mains order never reached the kitchen. After 2.5 hours, frustrated and hungry, we asked for the bill, for another waiter to act completely surprised that we're unhappy with the service. AVOID, it's just...

Went at 20:00, table stayed empty of food until 22:20, and so did those of the people around us. Its ok to distract us with loud music and dance for some time but 2 hours is insane especially since we ordered plain spaghetti with some frozen fried calamari and whatnot. Atleast the salads came. If youve been to greece a lot the food will not surprise you - rice was dry, shrimp’s intestines werent cleaned out. Restaurant is packed yet service is unbelievably slow. Wont come again and i advise you not to come either - at least not during active dinner hours. For reference on my pictures you see the food has come when it was pitch dark outside and we came well before sunset. Only positive really is that its by the beach and theres lots of tourists. Also the band was great and very talented, playing traditional greek music and more - they surely managed to entertain us for some time

edit: The answer to such feedback is usually “Thank you we ll take it into consideration” being rude and disrespectful with your reply wont change the fact that i got my food two hours late. hope your next clients read this...

SPECIAL!! On the last night of our family holiday [4th August 2022] we wanted a "WOW" experience. At Maistro's we gained a memory that will last with us for ever!! There are 11 of us ranging in age from 11 to 78. Where to start? The staff went out of their way to welcome us on what was a very busy night for the restaurant. Placing a table right down the middle so that each member had the chance to enjoy the fabulous location right on the Beach from which we were able to witness the Sunset over the horizon. They continued to meet our various demands for food and drinks throughout the evening with a clear sense of fun and enjoyment. The food was something else!! They say you get what you pay for. Well, in this case, The Quality and Quantity of the food was absolutely Superb and we could not fault a thing. The three and a half hours we spent at Maistro's were some of the most memorable we have ever had and the whole family has no reservation whatsoever in recommending this restaurant as a place not to miss when visiting Acharavi!!
