My friend and I were sitting on the chairs at the front of the taverna when suddenly a man who worked there came and screamed at us that they "were finished". We apologized and went to get off our chairs when he accused us of being rude even though we were getting up and moving nicely. We then went to sit down on the sand next to the chairs and he yelled at us to move further down the beach before he "would start to get really rude" and gestured us to move away as far as possible. Read moreThis was the first restaurant we came to after walking down the road to the beach. The tables at the front were reserved which I guess is a good sign.
We were there quite early and it wasn't busy but the service was quick and efficient. I tried the speciality fish which was gyros/meat with a tomato metaxa sauce and Gouda cheese melted in the oven.
2 people in our group were vegetarian and there was enough choice for them on the menu.
