Medusa Seaside — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

I absolutely do not recommend this place ... Hard and rubber squid, generally avirulent, and pizza as hard as a stone on which you can break your teeth. The only good thing we ordered there was beer. Besides, we waited a long time for the order. After asking the waiter who served us, we were suppering dinner - he nodded, then went. A few minutes later another waitress came with a bill and with a smile she handed it to us. We told her that the food is unappealing and did not meet our expectations, after which this lady said that other guests say that the food is okay and she does not understand that we did not like it. We asked for the manager's call, after which this lady said she is a manager. The conversation, of course, led us crazy, and the rudeness of this lady and pseudo service reached the bottom. Unfortunately, we did not have the strength for further discussions, we paid the bill and left the place with humor spoiled for the next few hours. I only regret that we did not have the opportunity to talk to a real manager, not a woman without culture, impersonating a manager, just to get us off the premises faster. The behavior of this lady is below criticism, as well as eating at this pub. Absolutely not recommended - the worst place on the whole island ...

Absolutnie nie polecam tego miejsca... Jedzenie bez szału, kalmary twarde i gumowe, generalnie niezjadliwe, a pizza twarda jak kamień, na której można połamać sobie zęby. Jedyną dobrą rzeczą, jaką tam zamówiliśmy było piwo. Poza tym długo czekaliśmy na zamówienie. Po poproszeniu kelnera, który nas obsługiwał, zareklamowaliśmy kolację - kiwnął głowa, po czym poszedł. Kilka min później przyszła inna kelnerka z rachunkiem i z uśmiechem nam go wręczyła. Powiedzieliśmy jej, że jedzenie jest niezjadliwe i nie spelniło naszych oczekiwań, po czym ta pani stwierdziła że innym gościom smakuje i ona nie rozumie tego, że nam to nie smakowało. Poprosiliśmy o zawołanie managera, po czym ta pani stwierdziła że ona jest managerem. Rozmowa oczywiście doprowadziła nas do szału, a chamstwo tej pani i pseudo obsługa sięgnęła dna. Niestety nie mieliśmy już siły na dalsze dyskusje, zapłaciliśmy rachunek i wyszliśmy z tego miejsca z humorami zepsutymi na najbliższe godziny. Żałuję tylko, że nie mieliśmy okazji porozmawiać z prawdziwym managerem, a nie jakąś kobieta bez kultury, podszywająca się pod managera, aby tylko szybciej nas spławić z lokalu. Zachowanie tej pani plasuje się poniżej krytyki, tak samo jak jedzenie w tej knajpie. Absolutnie nie polecam - najgorsze miejsce na...

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Medusa Bar Restaurant, and I must share my exceptionally negative review of this establishment. The incident occurred when I encountered an utterly repugnant dish, and despite my valid request for a replacement, the owner callously refused and insisted on charging me for it "The manager wanted me to give him my passport It’s Illegal !

We talk about 6€ …..

In light of this unacceptable culinary experience, I politely approached the owner with my concerns, seeking a suitable alternative. Shockingly, my request was met with outright refusal. The owner displayed a complete lack of empathy, disregarding my complaint without any attempt to rectify the situation. To add insult to injury, I was then billed for the abhorrent dish, as if I had willingly chosen to subject myself to such an ordeal. This level of indifference towards customer satisfaction is simply inexcusable.

Regrettably, the deplorable customer service I experienced at Medusa Bar Restaurant extended beyond this incident. The staff exhibited a disinterested and apathetic attitude, displaying minimal responsiveness to the needs and concerns of diners. Moreover, the overall ambiance of the restaurant left much to be desired, with a noticeable lack of cleanliness and an evident disregard for basic maintenance.

Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, but my visit to Medusa Bar Restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare. The refusal to address a legitimate complaint, coupled with the abysmal service and the unappetizing food, left me feeling deeply dissatisfied.

I strongly caution anyone considering dining at Medusa Bar Restaurant to think twice. The unprofessionalism, refusal to rectify mistakes, and overall abhorrent dining experience make this establishment one that should be avoided at all costs. There are numerous other restaurants in the vicinity that prioritize customer satisfaction and offer a vastly superior dining experience.

Few words for the manager you...

Let's get the bad bit out of the way first, they won't let you live inside the restaurant.

For a fairly new establishment, only opened in 2017, it has a huge amount going for it, in all the right areas, the cuisine and location are great, and the building is modern but somewhat understated and classy, you can feel right at home within minutes of sitting down at a table.

Dining is offered both indoors and out, and there are plenty of cosy tables for two, or huge banquet style tables for massive family gatherings, and everything in-between. Prices are good, and in-line with the local competition while holding the advantage with regards to comfort and cleanliness of the immediate environment.

Whether you want to go for breakfast, a full blown 4-course meal or just one of their delicious desserts (I recommend the waffles) I cannot fault them. Having been served a dish that was unacceptable in quality, it was dealt with in a professional and apologetic manner and the owner (lovely young lady who has hair like Medusa!) made sure I was given any and every alternative and removed the dish from the final bill, and I could not have asked for more.

Obviously there's free Wi-Fi here, and they also offer the most comfortable beach loungers on the whole of Acharavi beach, with the best parasols for great shade, and a beautifully constructed wooden deck, or directly on the beach of you prefer.
