DENIZ MEZE SINGLE MEMBER P.C. — Restaurant in Municipality of Palaio Faliro

I have bought a coupon from regroup very recently as a surprise for my parents. They visited the restaurant last Sunday and they picked the fixed menu with the spaghetti with lobster. They were told that the lobster was fresh which wasn't true. The lobster was nearly empty inside, the spaghetti was covered with canned tomato sauce and with a spice to cover the real smell of the lobster. The menu included sweet for both of them-free choice from 5 different options. The waiters never asked them what they wanted. They brought them "chalva" which was not included in the selection of sweets and was extremely poorly made. Last but not least they were supposed to receive 2 glasses of masticha at the end of the meal. Instead, they gave them a glass of wine and orange juice from a can.

Both the customer service and most importantly the food need...

Service: Very patient staff, fast service and a plus, delicious complimentry watermelon ❤️

Ordered: Grilled sardine 5/5 (extremely well cooked and presented), mussel 4/5 (needed to be steamed more), fried squid 3/5 (It was not crispy enough. But the dip sauce served with the squid was very delicious), tzatziki 4/5 (cucumber was chopped/grated bigger than normal), aubergine salad 5/5, seasonal boiled greens 5/5, house ouzo and 2beers.

Paid: 57,50€ (Couvert charge was 1,5€ per person)

Atmosphere: The outside dining area is lovely for evening sunspot and breeze. It's a tad too noisy...

Omg! I went there with my friends on Saturday evening, I ate absolutely delicious food. But one outstanding thing happened.. i forgot my little purse with everything in it… passports, creditcards, cash. I went back 3 day later and everything was still there. Yes, 3 days I didn’t need it, cause I have my phone wallet that I use most of the time and I though it is somewhere in my pile of mess at home…. Okay my brain did not work because of my 12 h flight… and still does not work well.. haha! Thank you Restaurant staff for beeing so honest!!!!!!!!!! So go there and have some amazing food, great service and nice people...
