JERRY’S — Restaurant in Municipality of Papagos - Cholargos

Jerry's is an all day cafe situated in Papagou. I knew the place before the renovation and I have to admit that the new owners made an extraordinary try & have upgraded it to the best way! It is one of my favorite hangout places in Athens for breakfast and light dinner. If I was living in the area, it would definetely be my 1st stop every morning for a takeaway coffee since they have a really good single origin coffee.

As you step your foot into the cafe, you are welcomed by the very kind staff and you feel the cosy and relaxing vibe (btw it's perfect for working with your laptop).

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious brunch recipes designed for kids and adults. I had eggs benedict with a twist, an hollandaise made by tahini. My friends tried the pizza as well as the philly steak. They were exquisite.

The place also offers various types of drinks. The service was great and kind. Ofcourse as it is a new place, has its ups and downs but the owners are full of warmth and thoughtful of their guests. It is, by far, my favourite spot in the neighbourhood. It is situated on a local square, where kids can play, within a residential area, the outdoors serving area being underneath the freshness and shade of a mulberry tree. This used to be a locally favoured coffee/pastry shop and it has lately been transformed to a wonderful all day cafe. It offers calm and tranquility, thus it is an ideal heaven for the ones working remotely. The gourmet style, healthy and vegetarian friendly choices out of the menu, as well as the excellent cocktails, are super tasty and original. There's also a great choice of music playing discretely in the background, all the time. Often, on Sunday's there's a live jazz band playing during brunch, which is Jerry's highlight of the week. The decor, much like the whole concept of the place, is rooted in minimalism. It's a clean, elegant canvas that lets the experience take centre stage.

Service at Jerry's is efficient, attentive, and always with a smile.
