Nice place. We went there as a group of 6. We ordered mostly rose wine, 1 pizza Funghi Misti which was average good (hand made base, canned mushrooms etc)
Additionally we ordered ribs which were frozen not fresh and were cooked by CHEF MIC (microwaved food).
We were hangry and we end up eating it but it was bad and low quality. We believe this item should be removed from the menu at the restaurant similarly as it is removed from eFood and other such platforms.
We informed the waitress which was happy to receive our comment regarding the ribs and she told us she would transfer the complaint to the management.
Of course we paid for everything and left unhappy because it is such a nice place to meet up but some options on the menu make up for a less desirable experience and obviously the owners do not care that much and this is sad as the place is centrally located and has a lot of potential.
Perhaps Gordon Ramsey or Chef Ektoras Botrini should pay them a visit and learn them...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Piu Verde on Christmas night with a good friend, and it was truly a delightful experience. The atmosphere was perfect—cosy, festive, and inviting—without the distractions of loud music or chatter, allowing us to enjoy each other's company in peace. The space was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, adding an extra layer of charm to the evening.
The pizza was exceptional, with a delicious, well-balanced flavor that made each bite a pleasure. As for the drinks, I had a Negroni. While it wasn’t the best I’ve had, it certainly had potential, and I enjoyed it nonetheless. I’ve been to Piu Verde several times, and I’ve always felt that while great company is key, the place itself plays a significant role in making the experience enjoyable. It’s one of those spots that manages to offer a perfect balance of comfort and quality, making it a go-to place for a lovely...
Read moreWe went for dinner on a Sunday evening. The location is attractive, though the cafe was much too overcrowded. The waiter and waitress were quick in giving us our menus, but that's where the good service ends. Unsmiling, unfriendly and abrupt at times. They were slow in coming to get our orders, though the food itself did not take too long to arrive. The bread was brought with no dip - because they'd run out (we were one of the first diners to get there). We were only informed of this when we asked for the dip. They offered to bring olives instead - which they promptly forgot about as soon as they left our table. We had to remind them, which was difficult to do as it was very hard to ever catch their attention. We ordered risotto funghi, whose taste, unfortunately, was overpowered by the taste of garlic.
Apart from the attractive location, nothing else...
