Such a lovely place! Be sure to make a reservation beforehand cause otherwise you'll be probably waiting for over an hour. We had this one on our list of places to try for a long time so we didn't mind the wait, we just walked around the neighborhood while we waited. The service was really good, our waiters were all kind and despite the restaurant being full to the max we got served almost immediately after we got sat to our table. The food was delightful! We chose the burger with the secret sauce and the one with the sweet potato crispies. We didn't love the first one but that was simply because we didn't love the sauce but the taste is a personal thing so don't let that stop you from trying it. As for the other one I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it as it's one of the most unique and tasty burgers I've had ( and I am a fan of good burgers in general). The burgers are served with a massive side of fries which I later learnt that they can be served with cheddar and bacon if asked, something that we were not informed by our waiter but I think that was because it is apparently a well know secret! Prices are on the higher side for burgers but I also believe they are well deserved. Loved the atmosphere of the place and would definitely recommend and will...
Read moreIts so popular that its a hassle to get in. Called em moments ago to receive a non welcoming denial of reservation. Not their fault, that happens usually when you are fully booked all the time. There are equal or better places of same price tho, the 2018 Athens burger fiesta is long gone, now everyone has something comparable.
+Great sized dishes, very welcoming and quick staff, reasonable prices for what you get since one burger is enough to fill ya. Burger comes with fries in the price and if you add salad in with 1-3 euros, its a really big meal. (I recommend coleslaw add in dish since its only 2 euros and the coleslaw portion you're getting is similar to a full sized salad. If you're a mayo lover go ahead)- very long waiting time, even on weekdays. Very popular. Not good ambience, can get very loud since its always overcrowded. 4,6* for the food and staff - 3 for the restaurant designed capacity and queue. Good job guys, this is strongly recommended, but be prepaired to wait a long time. We had The billion and Coachella plus coleslaw and regular add in salads and we had no room for dessert, shame since their deserts are also really good for the price. If we ignore the queue and the space,...
Read moreTried this place after hearing about it from several people, and reading the raving reviews.
In short: its ok... albeit very overrated.
The service is very friendly, but the wait is long.
The styling and atmosphere are typical burger joint-ish. Just fine.
The food is of decent quality, with very large portions (many Greeks like this point very much). Although you can tell that the raw materials are better than most run-of-the-mill burger joints, the taste and recipes are nothing to write home about.
The actual Burger patty was very large, not too greasy (as is the case with many others), with good quality meat, but not especially juicy...or flavorful. It sort of reminded me of a low budget version of what a amateur home cook would make. Good raw material but quite kinda bland.
On the other hand, the sauces are extremely overpowering, and way, way too much on each burger. Probably to compensate for the bland patty.
If you're hungry and want a satisfying burger, this place is fine. You won't be disappointed.
However, if you are expecting something extraordinary, this place doesn't live up...
