Yuzu Sushi Bar & More — Restaurant in Municipality of Peristeri

This was my review a couple years ago: "Basically my favorite restaurant"

I LOVED this restaurant until they stopped caring Anymore. It's not just them not caring for feedback anymore: The food is no longer prepped correctly and when it's served its either cold or inconsistent in taste. One day the noodles dishes will have all the vegetables listed on the menu in them while some times there will just be sautéed peppers. The steamed rice now comes overcooked and somehow stinks of glue. The soy sauce edamame I loved the original flavor of, but it seems they have many different cooks and it never comes out quite the same - it can either be super sweet or overly salty nowadays. I'm so disappointed that they went down this path.

The only reason I don't give it 1 star or include any other negative feedback is because it really WAS my favorite restaurant and it is so sad that the quality has become so poor and the people that own it care so little.

HOWEVER I should mention that we get a couple of sushi plates when ordering so maybe they simply wish to solely focus on their sushi dishes and neglect...

This sushi joint is one of the better ones across the western suburbia of the city. The sushi here is a more adventurous take from the traditional sushi, the ingredients are decent and the combinations rather interesting. The portions are also on the larger side of things, which somewhat justifies the higher than usual prices. The staff is always friendly, and will accommodate you if they can. I have also had take-away several times, and even though they are always late (average waiting time is about an hour) the sushi is always good. Overall, it is probably one of the decent sushi places...

Not a Japanese cuisine for sure. Tempura batter on vegetables is not real tempura, it’s not crunchy and even a bit soggy. Spicy tuna maki has the tiniest pieces I’ve ever seen and so little of fish that you can’t even taste it. Korean buns are unbalanced, the ingredients don’t work with each other and taste separately. The only good tasted dish was a specialty roll with salmon and shrimp but the pieces of salmon on the roll were so small.
