A Hidden Gem That Stole Our Hearts (and Tastebuds!)

We visited this incredible Greek restaurant in May on the recommendation of our amazing driver, and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences of our entire trip. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed like family. The warmth and hospitality were unlike anything we've experienced—genuine, generous, and deeply personal. The sons served our table with pride and kindness, while their mother worked her magic in the kitchen. You could feel the love in every dish.

The food? Absolutely out of this world. They gently guided us through the menu, suggesting dishes and even helping us adjust our drink order to match the traditional way—turns out some drinks are meant to be shared at the table, not ordered one by one! Every bite was better than the last. Fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. It was the kind of meal that makes you slow down and savor every second. I AM STILL THINKING ABOUT THE CHICKEN DISH OMG.

We spent three weeks traveling through 10 cities across 4 countries, and still, this little restaurant remains one of the absolute highlights of our entire journey. Without question, it was the best food we had on the trip. I would return to Greece just to eat here again. The ambiance was charming and cozy, with beautiful views and décor that felt true to its roots.

A heartfelt thank you to this wonderful family for treating us like their own. You gave us more than a meal—you gave us a memory we’ll...

Aposperitis has been engraved in my heart! The reviews don’t do it justice! You really need to visit this family place, it is a lifetime experience and a magnificent journey of all the senses! The food is excellent, top notch everything prepared by Mrs Eleni with all her love!! I had to go after reading all the reviews from all the happy customers. From the moment I stepped my foot in the door, I was warmly greeted and embraced as their own! I felt like home and even better I must say!! I was taken care of and treated with utmost kindness and attention! I don’t eat meat nor dairy and the family took great care of me! I am deeply grateful for everything!! Mrs Eleni prepared a few dishes especially for me and they were absolutey mouthwatering!! I had mentioned that it was my birthday two days ago and Mrs Eleni rushed everyone to the kitchen only to have everyone outside singing happy birthday to me with an amazing traditional sweet! We ate, we sang, we danced we laughed, we became family! From that da on, I return home with every chance I get! Thank you Mrs Eleni and beautiful family for your love, amazing food, cosy vibe, great music and for making the world a...

THIS is the Greek experience we heard about and were hoping for. This family owned restaurant is extremely proud of their recipes passed down from generation to generation. The waiter came to our table to welcome us and said “Our menu is only in Greek, here we prefer to bring our best dishes to the table to enjoy. If you don’t like it or have an allergy just let us know and we will accommodate. The price for 2 persons including a big bottle of water, wine, beer, and bread is €35 total. What do you say? Sit back, relax and enjoy!” And enjoy we did!!! I am still surprised with how good the price is and how delicious each dish was, they practically had to roll us out of there we were so stuffed. Close to the port but a definite one to be sure to eat at if you are staying in city center. Thank you for a wonderful meal...
