BORA BORA — Restaurant in Municipality of Rethymnon

We went there two times in total on our trip, first time went great. Good service, food came quickly but the second time however was a disaster.

When we got there we first had to look for a server to place us at a table, where there was also someone smoking right beside us.

The menu was pretty diverse with a great amount options, for someone that eats meat at least. We order three things: Tomato Bruschetta, fries and three mini burgers(like sliders) and then one drink for each of us three.

We wait for about 20 minutes before our drinks come out, a bottle of Coca Cola and two bottles of sparkling water. Then about 30 minutes later two of three people in our group gets their food and we were thinking that they probably just couldn’t carry it all at the same time but no. They came back after another 10 minutes saying that the burgers will be done ”right away” and that’s after about an hour of waiting. We ordered at 13:22 and it was about 14:20 when she said that.

After another like 10 minutes she comes back saying that there was something wrong with the stove where they cook the burgers. Would have been nice to know an hour ago.

Then after a while the burgers finally come out and she tries again to put all the blame on the stove.

I start eating the burgers and when I look at on of them I can’t even see the burger itself. Turns out the patty was about a dime in size. Like on the picture. I mean the food was decent at best.

The bruschetta was room temperature and the tomatoes felt soggy and not very fresh.

Unfortunately I won’t be going here again, and I couldn’t recommend...

Bring a deck of cards because the food here doesn't come quickly! Incredibly long wait! We dropped in here for lunch. The waiter quickly came and took our drink and food order. Our order was three salads, one bruschetta, and mini burgers. The drinks came after a few minutes, and then the waiting began. After 30 minutes, we asked the waiter how the food was coming along. The answer was that it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. We then waited another 20 minutes and asked again. This time the waiter guaranteed it would be ready in 5 minutes. The delay was due to "problems in the kitchen." If there are problems in the kitchen, the waiter should inform you before you order. Another 10 minutes passed before we decided to leave, at which point the waiter said "okay, goodbye." No apology whatsoever. They offered to give us the food for free, but after waiting for an hour, we had to go to another...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this beach bar and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed and inviting, with stunning views of the ocean and a gentle breeze blowing through the palm trees. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ensuring that my drink was never empty.

The drinks were fantastic - perfectly mixed cocktails that were both refreshing and delicious. The food was also top-notch, with a variety of options to choose from, all of which were fresh and flavorful.

I loved lounging on the sunbeds and soaking up the sun while sipping on my drink. The live music added to the already amazing ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a day at the beach.

Overall, I highly recommend this beach bar to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach experience. I will definitely be returning...
