Highly recommended! The tables are on a cobbled picturesque street in the middle of Koskinou. The service was excellent, friendly, polite and fast! We visited the taverna a couple of times and everything we had was yummy. I'd recommend the bougiourdi (melted feta cheese with tomato and spices) and the shrimp saganaki, delicious!!! All meat dishes were succulent and the house white very decent too. They also have chicken nuggets with chips, very tender, a big hit with the little ones. And reasonable prices. All in all, a very pleasant restaurant mostly for meat eaters, though there is a big choice of salads and spreads. Best experience ever had with Greek food so far! We were there two times in a row, therefore we had the chance to taste several dishes and all of them tasted incredibly: fried calamari, simian shrimps, moussaka, zucchini fritters, mixed grilled meat...everything so tasteful! And as perfect conclusion, galaktoboureko as dessert! Furthermore, the atmosphere outside is cozy and characteristic. The waiters were all very nice and attentive and the owner Giannis is welcoming and friendly, making you feel like an old loyal customer even if it's just your first time there. Best authentic Greek restaurant in Rhodes. In fact, YiaYia (grandma) still hand rolls the cabbage roles and meatballs which will melt in your mouth. Prices are absolute spot on and the service was fantastic, even though the restaurant was packed. We dined here twice in 4 days, and our experience was unmatched anywhere across Rhodes.

Located in the small town of Koskinou, this traditional tavern is tucked away in a small pocket behind a few streets. You really have to look to find it or do as we did and ask the locals where they eat.
