o Kotsakis — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Kostakis is the favourite of the locals, the place is literally packed every day, people are coming from all over to eat in and take away. And for good reasons. I've had the best souvlaki in Rhodes there -more than once- and we enjoyed it every time. Apart from their speciality (souvlaki) make sure you try the sausage (loukaniko), the eggplant spread (melitzanosalata) and the mushrooms, yes, the mushrooms were amazing! As I said, it is usually packed so you need to get there early to get a table or be willing to wait for a while- it's worth it! The owner is always trying his best to get everyone sorted and served, he even set up a new table for us at the back so my little one wouldn't have to wait too long. We were here in a vacation with small family. The staff were really friendly and kind to us. The food was even better, we ate chicken souvlaki and kebab, and both were amazing as well as their homemade mayonnaise. (There were also many cats.)
