Taverna Tasos Rhodes koskinou — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

I have never experienced such an unprofessional behaviour, the owner's behaviour is in-between rudeness and snobbery. I'm sorry there is no 0 star... -Booked a table 20:30 -Standing up waiting for our table until 20:55, with two small kids and two 80 year old persons, but ok I don't expect from someone to treat us differently because of this. -20:55 the waiter was emptying our table and after the waiting we told the two kids to have a seat and his reply was: this doesn't make it easier for me....really? Is it so difficult to empty a table with 2 kids on a chair? Who were standing for 20'? Needs any special skills? -21:05 after 2 asks from him to take the order his rude reply was: what do u expect? you've just been seated....

Seriously??? We've been seated about 10' ago because you had us waiting for 20', despite that our booking was for 20:30. Of course we left, even I knew the food is good (been there before and I want to be fair) and it was late and the kids...

Myself and a group of friends were staying in a villa just outside of Koskinou and I was tasked with finding a local restaurant for our first night.

Koskinou is a small town however there were a few options to choose from.

However as soon as I looked up Tasos and saw the lamb chops I was sold and it did not disappoint!

There were 7 of us and the owner recommended 2kgs between us to be accompanied with a village salad. We also had bread, tzatziki, white beans and fries. All of which were superb.

For dessert we were presented with some sort of Greek ice cream with honey but I don’t recall the name.

The wine was good and the beer was cold.

All in all the evening was perfect and I would highly recommend for anyone staying...

The food is good, very good. The attitude is bad, so bad.

A family owned restaurant of a Koskinou major. The family has a little idea of service, and managed to get multiple conflicts with both local loyal clients and tourists, despite actually nice food they are serving.

Kostas serving the guests could easily raise his voice on a guest, in a situation when food is not coming for an hour. Another family member, female by the door, is such a contrast with any host in Greece, looking like you're disturbing her at all coming to this place, and never even tries to manage any simple situation, e.g. with one more guest at your table.

Come here only if some drama feeds...
