Το στέκι του Χειλά — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Food was really nice, shared lots of great seafood, highly recommend if you are in a larger group (4+). Prices may be slightly higher than surrounding restaurants but was worth it in my opinion.

The place didn't have any menus displayed on the outside but added to the experience when we went inside, the place seemed like it was visited often by locals which was a good sign.

Service was good, spoke enough English to get by ordering food etc.

Overall a nice place near the town, good food for the price...

Food was really delicious and the staff are smiley and very helpful. I actually ate here twice today. For lunch I had the fresh sardines with a cabbage salad; both were great. At dinner I tried the fried gavros fish, the Greek salad and the saganaki, all so tasty. I really like how in Rhodes they add pickles to the salad, and here the combination was just perfect. It wasn’t a good experience for us unfortunately and I cannot recommend. The salad was full of massive chunky onions. The fries were too greasy and nothing stood out.

The service is painfully slow, half an hour for the order to be taken and over an hour for the food to arrive as they move table-by-table. We asked for a piece of bread while waiting and they...
