Paragadi — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

While I had been there years ago with a good experience, last week's visit was a nightmare. The waiter's demeanor was incredibly rude; when we asked for the bill, he did not bring a detailed receipt, just a price and the total was double what we had calculated. Despite politely requesting a written bill, he treated us as if we were unwilling to pay, resorting to yelling at us in front of other people and insisting we pay immediately and telling that after payment we will got a detailed receipt.

When we requested a menu to verify the prices of our meals with waiters, it became apparent that he had “mistakenly” brought us the bill from the table behind us. There was no apology and we continued to be treated as if we were unwilling to pay the bill. It felt like a deliberate attempt to deceive us. Not only was the service appalling, but the food was also awful; everything arrived cold. I strongly do not advise here. THANK GOD! Finally found a decent sea food restaurant thats affordable and fresh. Especially after spending the whole afternoon at the beach. We were EXHAUSTED and HUNGRY. Only got disappointed til now so we rlly hoped this restaurant wouldn’t disappoint us again. Also my gf whose rlly picky liked it. Shes also kind introverted and has undiagnosed ADHD, so the place was actually kinda perfect. Maybe most people wouldnt like quiet and empty restaurants but she LOVED it. The foodportions are also rlly good for the price, not too much, not too little. ALSO the service was also really nice. They gave us free bread, cold, fresh water and free desert!! We recommend!!!! While travelling around the Island of Rhodes I asked a local what was a good place for seafood and they told me, go to Paragadi. So I went and I wasn’t disappointed. Service was great, affordable, food was fresh and was cooked perfectly. A really enjoyable experience.

I had the fried calamari, grilled squid rice and salad with some refreshing Greek white wine.
