Antonio Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Had a lovely meal here Saturday the 9th of June 2018 with my lovely wife. Was greeted by a very friendly young man called Terry's, well that was his English name, he was Greek but spoke perfectly good English. As it was not so busy we were told we can sit anywhere we like. He politely showed us to our seat and even tucked the table so it was closer to you. It was very hot in the restaurant but my wife asked if he could put the air conditioning on, and they did it without any fuss. We were asked if we wanted a drink and he was very friendly and helpful in letting us make our mind up on what we wanted to eat. My wife chose a spaghetti Bolognese and a Greek salad, and I chose a barbecue pizza which was to die for. My wife's spaghetti Bolognese was also delicious she says it was the tastiest she has ever eaten. We had an alcoholic drink each also, and it was very reasonable priced about £25 pounds in English money. The waiter Terry's was a credit to the company as he was so friendly attentative and informative he even advised on other good restaurants in the area. A very nice place to eat which is very reasonably priced...You won't be disappointed.......

Where do I start… firstly we arrived with our 3 children in the middle of a power cut. Antonio made us feel very welcome still although you can tell he was under a lot pressure. He told us it was a 30 minute wait for food which we totally understood. Ok so the pasta is amazing, you can really tell it’s fresh pasta and all the ingredients are totally fresh too. It’s so good we ate every last drop. Even my children who will always leave a bit are there’s so that says something. The service was excellent, always attentive and friendly. We are Greek Cypriot so had plenty of Nice conversations and even had a lovely chat with Antonio’s mum who even shared her watermelon with my kids. Great for vegans! Asked for special vegan orders and the results was excellent. Making a good pizza without cheese can be challenging, but with pesto and veggies it was super moist no cheese was needed!Many different kinds of pasta to choose from, with veggies, tomato sauce or pesto. Great foccaccia bread! They also had a vegetarian burger option with halloumi cheese and unusual and exciting toppings. Has gluten free pasta. Not just typical Italian food, many different starters and burgers, more variety than most restaurants in the area.
