Christos Family Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Our group of 6 had the pleasure of dining here twice during our 11 days in Rhodes. The owners are FANTASTIC. Full of personality, friendly and accommodating. I honestly can't say enough about these two. When you're here, they treat you like family.

We tried a plethora of different foods over the course of our two times here. Hands down the best Pizza on the island. Highly recommend the Greek pizza and the Diavolo.

The Calamaria is the best fried Calamari we all ate ever, period. It's lightly fried, incredibly tender and not overly oily.

Don't get me started with the Greek salad. It's phenomenal.

The restaurant is spacious, plenty of room. There are TVs, a play area for small children and a pool table.

This place is easy to miss but if you're staying in one of the many resorts around, you will not be disappointed by having a meal here.

I seldom give anything five stars, since it often would be impossible to 'truly' compare a place to another when it comes to quality if you happened to have a good meal at one place once and then you go to another where the taste is soo much better, but you already 'spoiled' your 5 stars with the first place. However, when you consider all aspects here, this place is truly worth 5 stars! The food is not excellent, but cooked with a good heart and you feel that there is a good effort here, the staff is so extremely friendly - all of them, and you feel soo welcomed, if you have kids, you will be sure that the waiters will play and have fun with them! Setting and decoration is enjoyable and the price you pay - is next to nothing! It's still sooo cheap, and you cannot believe what you get for your money! When you sum this up, it's impossible to not rate this five stars, you will go from there with a smile...

Most amazing atmosphere any restaurant could have. Christos is an great host, you will feel right at home at this establishment. The gyros was delicious and only €2.50, I ate it every day for a week. We went there every day we were in Rhodes and explored the entire menu, I was not disappointed once. The beer was well priced and the cocktails were well made. After going to a different restaurant and paying twice the price for Houmous and pitta that wasn’t half as good as Christos’ I realised there was no point eating anywhere else on the island. Great air conditioning and the pool table is free and Christos put F1 on the screen when we asked for it. I cannot wait to revisit. Please pay Christos and his family a visit, you will not be...
