Black horse — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Tried a greek dish, it was good. So good that we went back the day after. The management seems under staffed, they are bussy, and mixing up/forgets parts of the order. The day after i went with the gyros plate. It was just ok. The day after i had to stay inside, and close to the wc at anytime. Food poisoning. Since this place is the closest from my hotel, and im a simple man, i got pizza from that place, delivered by my girlfriend. The pizza was also just ok.

The food is like..meh.., it needs a step up. The staff seems stressed - but they are friendly and nice. Wasps everywhere btw.

The venue looks nice and is clean and had a comfortable high chair for my 2yo, however huge disappointment regarding the food. We ordered 3 meals, all frozen food heated up and just not fresh or edible really. Cheeseburger was served cold and honestly looked like cat food, the chicken slouvlaki could have been nice but the meat had a very rubbery texture (I didn’t risk it being pregnant) my child’s jacket potato was rock hard and inedible so either undercooked or part frozen.

Not a place I would visit again. Reason for the 2 stars for the food: my wife said the souvlaki was ok, and that’s it. The T-bone was bone dry - I ordered it medium - and definately not a T-bone! Worked my way through a 1,5 -2 cm dry piece of meet utterly overcooked to an extent that realy was surprising. Didn’t really know that it is possible to ruin a piece of meat to that degree! A young girl serving was polite and smiling, but the older waitress didn’t exactly follow up on that…...
