I’m going to start off by saying that the staff here are really nice and incredible workers but the photos of the hotel don’t really match up and we had to stay here because OnTheBeach cancelled our hotel 3 times before giving us this one, I think it’s great for a budget family holiday but if your looking for something abit more special with amenities and extras then this isn’t the place for you. Main problems we had were: . You can’t order cocktails from the bar on your all inclusive stay until 5:30pm, if you want some booze it’s beer and wine on tap or a soft drink (we hate beer and wine so needed up drinking cola for 5/6 hours a day until cocktail time) . The food is very basic and bland and served buffet style. . The main pool is tiny with very limited sun loungers so unless you get up at the crack of dawn you won’t be lounging in the sun but rather in some metal chairs which are scolding in the sun. The edge of the whole pool area had a layer of green grime showing it had t been cleaned since who knows when and when investigating the smaller second pool we found that the whole pool had turned green I’m guessing due to chemical imbalance or lack of cleaning. . My friend and I had separate rooms on complete opposite sides of the hotel when we’d asked to be close to each other when booking, when asking if we could change to rooms close to each other we were told no by the night receptionist who seemed to be the only person working there when we checked in. . We paid £722 each for our rooms - all inclusive and my friends room which was just for her for some reason had 3 single beds that we tried to push together but they wouldn’t fit so she slept on a single bed the whole holiday and had a designated bed for her suitcase, the fridge in her room made a horrible warring noise, her shower head was broken and wouldn’t mount to the wall so she had to hold the shower herself everytime she wanted to shower, the rooms were dirty, sparsely furnished and not very attractive. My room had what seemed a double bed but was 2 singled pushed together with a double sheet used and the beds weren’t welded together so I ended up falling through centre of bed when they slid apart in the middle of the night, my toilet seat was missing a hinge so would hang sideways wonky and the shower cublicle was so small you had to Manoeuvre yourself awkwardly to get in and out. . The rooms we paid £700 for don’t come with air conditioning, you have to pay €10 a night to use air con in your room and to use the electricity in your room you have to leave the room key inside the holder so everytime you leave you have to take the key with you so it’s done to make sure no air con or electricity are used when your not there. . We arrived at the hotel at 10:30pm and decided to pay the air con fee because it’s so hot and they charged us €70, even though we only had 6 days at the hotel now we had to pay €10 to use the air con in our rooms for an hour and half or come back after midnight and pay €60. . Bring cash with you because there card machine doesn’t work, the only card machine they have is at the front desk and is broken so it took 15 minutes to put the charge through for the aircon but also if you decide you don’t mind paying for a cocktail since you have want one but cant get one on all inclusive until 5:30pm then you’ll also have to walk to reception and then back to the bar because as I said they only have one card machine. . Finally as I don’t want to go on with myself anymore, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere it’s a 10 minute walk to the bars and shops but you have to walk down a dirt country road that doesn’t have any street lights so you walk in pitch black darkness which was scary and felt dangerous. If you like the area, better hotels nearby but if your looking for cheap and decent come here but don’t have any big expectations.

When you choosing a 3-star hotel at a normal price You cannot expect any luxuries, however when we decided to go to 3-star hotel ealier we were always pleasantly surprise upon arrival. In the case of Loutanis Hotel it was not love at first sight or unfortunalty later ones. Although the hotel has several advantages and maybe about them first 🙂 + - location of the hotel - Kolimbia 👌 - a bus to the beaches but the walks Have their charm, so we used the bus twice 🙂 - good kitchen - pool area, hotel area - some people from staff Now lets move to the hotel service 1.The Best people are : - room/clean service, ladies were soo kind. - a young girl with dark hair standing behind the Bar from 10:30 to 17 sorry to not ask your name 🙂 - older cleaning man after dinner in the canteen also so sorry to not ask about your name - chef 🙂 2 . Reception - unfortunatly the Reception is not helpful. One Day we had an organized trip quite early in the morning, knowing the rules of the hotel (no possibility to Take out food) i went to the Reception the Day before and ask if we could make sandwiches for the road, of course we were refused and when we took and Apple to Take away we were looked at as thieves. By the way a few years ago when we were in Zakynthos also in 3-star hotel we flew in after dinner. But this one Was waitinig for us in the room. All You Have to do is - want it 🙂 3. The bartender is indeed a specific guy but sometimes looking at how some people behave i am not surprised by him And - - categorizing nationality - paid aircondition at such high temperatures and in the part of hotel where we were located should be standard - very Small selection of alcohol. 3 drinks of which one is non-alcohol plus mixed Juice, cola etc. With vodka, rum, gin, ouzo - strange rules, which of course i respected but for example using the swimming pool from 10 but lying On sunbeds after 9:45 we did not expect to set up a cold shower from sprinklers that water the plants 🙈 - problem, with water. After arrival in the afternoon we wanted to take a cold shower unfortunatly the tap water run hot all the time, in the evening when we wanted a warmer shower the water Was cold and unfortunatly the instructions from the Staff after reporting the problem to turn on the water and wait its temperature to change gave nothing. All in all the hotel is not the worst but it could definitly be better as it has potential. Sometimes it is enough to change the aproach to the customer and the willingness to help and a Little more commitment and flexibility on the part of the service so taht some other shortcomings do not bother 🙂

First off I stayed here despite reading all of the negative reviews. I started here for 5 nights all inclusive with my wife and we got what we paid for. The food was nice but there wasn't much choice and I would have struggled to get my kids to eat any of it if they were with me. The drinks were terrible. After 17:30 they served cocktails which were watered down after drinking several I felt no different. They also serve them in really tiny throw away cups. There were two pools and the steps out of the deep end in the main pool were coming out of the floor and were straight up dangerous. Apart from that there isn't much for kids do do here, there is no form of entrainment provided apart from a pool table and an air hockey table and the mains was hanging out of the wall switch live wires exposed. This did not phase any of the staff. Our room was surprisingly nice at first glance as we paid the extra to have the room upgraded. The bed turned out to be very uncomfortable by the end of our stay and we had a couple of cockroaches scurry across the bathroom floor. Air conditioning was not as standard and we had to pay €30 for the pleasure of 5 nights worth of slightly cooled air which did help. The location was not to far from the beach with journey they're being filled with interesting shops and restaurants. The locals were lovely and we had some of the best food I've ever tasted at these places. The beach was stoney with every little sand but the sea was warm and pleasant. In a whole again we got what we paid for so we weren't expecting the world. My advice is if you can afford somewhere better then do it, if not you won't be staying in the worst place.
